Legal Services on Trademark Infringement and Unfair Competition Case of Pentium, Intel

“Pentium” of Intel Corporation is a registered trademark in China and a famous trademark around the globe. However, without Intel’s approval, many Chinese companies have registered various enterprises with “Pentium” in their companies’ names, manufacturing computer accessories, selling computers, repairing computers and providing services, which directly infringes on Intel’s exclusive right to use the registered trademark “Pentium”, and constitutes unfair competition. Therefore, Mr. Chambers Yang accepts Intel’s appointment to send warnings to related companies and to raise an opposition to the authority on the improper registration of company name and to apply for investigating the issue of unfair competition.
