| Job Description:Responsibilities - Overseeing, supporting and coordinating ongoing commercial projects/transactions in Greater China region - Supporting the business in dealing with all legal issues in China including coordinating with local government - Investigating, negotiating, and resolving disputes (commercial and labor) in China; - Supporting business development activities Working on corporate governance matters and compliance for all entities in Greater China region - Drive compliance programs across the business through communication, training, and Region/Country Compliance Review Board meetings - Create, enhance, monitor and audit compliance operating policies and processes - Provide legal support as may be required by assigned business components Qualifications - 4-6 years practice experience in general corporate, commercial and financial areas including both transactional and contract work - Strong analytical, drafting and negotiating skills - Following through on tasks; results and solution oriented - International legal training and law firm first practice experience a plus - Team player, flexible and committed, and ability to work effectively in a matrix management environment and individually - Must have the ability to interface with business leaders effectively and display a positive, collaborative, problem-solving attitude - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Fluent in both English and Chinese - Self-starter | |
